William Huxley may have been baptised on the 6th. April, 1823, at the Church of St. Michael's, Toxteth Park.
William Huxley married Alice Lythgoe on the 20th. August, 1848. William and his father Charles Huxley are 'listed' as labourers, whilst, Alice's father Thomas' occupation is listed as a shipwright. Alice and William were living in Parr Street.
William and Alice Huxley are included on the 1851 census. They had a son called Thomas, who is one year old.
William and Alice were living at 6 Wellington Terrace, High Park Street, Toxteth Park on the 1861 census. They had six children living with them: 1) Thomas, aged 11, who was a scholar 2) Charles, aged 9, who was a scholar 3) William, aged 7, who was a scholar 4) Benjamin, aged 5, who was a scholar 5) Elizabeth, aged 3 6) Alice, aged 5 months.
William and Alice were living at 10 Wellington Terrace, Toxteth Park on the 1871 Census; William was aged 48 years and Alice was aged 41 years. William was a labourer, and Alice a laundress. They had seven children living with them: 1)Charles, aged 20, who was a blacksmith 2) William, aged 17, who was a ship carpenter 3) Elizabeth, aged 13, who was a scholar 4) Alice, aged 9, who was a scholar 5) John, aged 7, who was a scholar 6) James, aged 5, who was a scholar 7) Edward, aged 1. William, Alice and their children were born in Liverpool.
Wiliam was buried at Toxteth Cemetery on the 19th. February, 1907, aged 85 years. He died at Toxteth Park Workhouse. (Information courtesy of http://www.toxtethparkcemetery.co.uk).

Possibilities-
William appears to have had a son, maybe circa. 1854, who was a ships carpenter, who retired around the time of the first world war, from the Cunard White Star Line.
William may have had these siblings:
Sarah, baptised at Church of St. Peter, Liverpool on the 27th. February, 1825.
Ann, baptised at Church of St. Michael, Toxteth on the 8th. July, 1827.
Charles, Church of St. Michael, Toxteth on the 3rd. January, 1830.
Charles, Walton on the Hill, Lancaster on the 1st. April, 1832.
